He's not referring to any of your posts being about pool chemicals. The point he's making is that the lack of a rule that says "you cannot post warships screenshots" does not make it against the rules to post. This is due to the nature of language which allows you to describe things in terms of other things without explicitly writing down what the former things are. This is a highly useful property for things to have (take a quick look at some of the work by Andrey Kolmogorov, e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kolmogorov_complexity as an example).

That said, I don't consider it to be breaking any rules to post screenshots of this type, but I do think that this screenshot doesn't add much that wasn't covered in your previous thread on the subject. To this end, I merged this topic with the previous one and ask that you keep all screenshots of you dog-boxing people in treaty games to the current thread for the foreseeable future. I believe that most people would prefer to see these things kept to one topic instead of split among many when each new topic only adds marginally more information.

I can see that there's a bit of a misunderstanding here. To make this explicit as possible:

- ESOC has no rule about whether or not you are allowed to make warships in your treaty games. Do whatever you like.
- ESOC does have rules about whether or not you are allowed to post screenshots of you making warships in your treaty games. You can post those screenshots, but please post them on this thread only for now.

I did something like this once, didn't break NWS or half map at all but I picked Sioux and someone on the other team said he didn't want to deal with a dog box. I promised I wouldn't use dog box and guess what - I did! He quit as soon as his factories was busted.

Nah sorry, you can see from the mod log that my post happened after the merge, and that the merge was the only moderator action I took with respect to this thread.
