You don't. Perhaps we are both getting the wrong end of the stick here.
In 3v3, the usual for Ori, Spain uses the small crossing. It usually is almost impossible to flank on there. In 1v1 you can definitely do that, so you need to spread your forces out more. Spain however isn't a very good civ for 1v1 really on Ori so it's seldom used.

3vs3 doesnt count, because lag changes balance.
They are a decent 1vs1 civ, which only lose to ger and brit (on RE).

pretty sure germans struggle hard vs them on orinoco ... it's more like ports do a better job (atleast after my experience)
