TP in NR games?

Does TP or no TP matter in late games, such as treaty or NR??

Whenever I play long FFAs, I prioritise building a TP ASAP cause XP is pretty valuable later on for all the necessary shipments. But it's just a nooby FFA

In treaty TP's are quite important. If you can get a TP during your boom it will give you a few extra cards before 40 which can be really important.
After 40 they give a decent eco boost that can be important in close games.

In most FFAS I go for a modified TP boom, slightly slower at first but can really pay off.... especially if you are using it for res to age up or make extra army.... lol I hardly ever use it on XP unless its a long game and
I'm in it for the long boom after I'm all teched up.
