*cough**cough*Mother Russia musketeer+nootka spam*cough**cough*
On a serious note, I think Portuguese and Dutch would be good, Sioux in team NR would be strongk since even they can get enough res for 10000 mins

with infinite res and having to win on taking ground I would want ottos, india, or a civ with base building capacity. to inch forward and rebuild anything that was lost.

Dutch would suck lol. The longer you have less eco the worse your economy is!

Re: What are the best civs in nr 10000?
its actually not that easy, I think on RE it would be a 3 way tie between france germany and british.
Analysis: Germany would end up with strongest eco, but wood will still be a issue. You would argue that nr10k is enough to gather enough wood, but considering nearly unlimited food and coin, and time frame the battle would simply be fought, wood will wind up pretty fast, lack of nats and musketeer type unit will put germany naturally in a defensive spot as british and france both possess top of the line hand cavalry.
British would end up with 2nd strongest eco, wood trade means near infinite wood, dependency on food combined with cows and good coin gather rate means british will face least problems.
France will end up with lowest eco ( among the 3 civs I mentioned ) Fur trade won't be realized to its full potential. like germany france will face wood issues soon enough but superior nats should make up for that, france can also overpop with infinite native shipment something germany lacks.
Now considering that game doesn't end cuz one player has full map control and other has zero units where game auto kicks him, I think british would win inf rockets inf nats and longer wood access combined with best musk and one of the best cavalry, after france and germany wind up on wood british overpop would simply be too much for france or germany to handle. France probably second best civ and germany 3rd

Fine line to something great is a strange change.

It would either be German or France

Re: What are the best civs in nr 10000?
the brits would actually be nearly invincible with the manor cards that allow instant build and villies to train for them. Even if one vill got lose in a maze of walls he could rebuild entire house market fb. vils for eco would be unnecessary but that type of spam would allow brits to be really tricky to squish.
In FFA this is a really good strat even without unlimited eco, you have to have spies to kill them.
decks would also be interesting as they would be mostly millitary orientated apart from factories.

This would be a fun scenario to play IMO. Infinite resources deathmatch.
Re: What are the best civs in nr 10000?
I don't think it would be that fun, honestly...
Re: What are the best civs in nr 10000?
France or Russia due to instant training units.

I would like it if it's a small map and you have a 8-player-FFA. Isn't there a custom map where you start with inf resources and only 10 villagers?
