The brightness of this map hurt my eyes and makes it hard to see your units. It would be great if you could use a less bright white for the snow, or simply put the ground back to green/brown.
I know i am not the only one who feels like this. Personaly I think it's a really awesome map and it would be a big shame if people avoided that map just because of this.
I wanted to change it to something like desert, but then it was decided to make it snowy. We can maybe add another version of this map with different textures
Mmmh it's strange because iirc snowy great plains uses still great plains lightset. Maybe it just doesn't fit well with yukon textures, in this case we will use yukon lightset I guess
In my opinion we are going to keep it this way, the snow is a great break from the normal brown and green landscapes. I have turned down my brightness on my screen and that seems to work just fine.

The "map" does not cause lag EDIT: OH I see largeness. Well GP has always been a large map, I don't think we changed the size of it.
