[Treaty Map] Toluca

Hello guys!

Im happy to introduce you my second map: Toluca.
My inspiration for this map was Orinoco, although Toluca is quite different from the original Orinoco.

Explanation:

Natives:
Esoc Native Analysis wrote:Aztecs
(Jaguar Warrior) - 6 units, 40f 60w
Eagle Warrior) - 6 units, 60f 40w
Technologies:
Aztec Chocolate Recipe (225 Wood 225 Coin) Delivers 1 100 Coin crate per 2 mins.
Aztec Chinampa (175 Wood 175 Coin) Villagers gather food from mills 20% faster and boats gather from fish and whales 20% faster. Changed to 10% increased mill gathering rate
Warning: If you click on the upgrade, it will instantly research the tech, but the button for the tech will still be visible. This is an side effect of using triggers to alter techs. When you successfully upgrade the tech, there will be a yellow message on your left side of the screen with the text: "Mill tech complete"
Aztec Initiation (?, ?) Increases hero hitpoints and all actions damage by 100%.
Garland Wars (?, ?) Increases HP for both units by 30%. - Age V

(Conquistador) - 6 units, 85f 70w
Technologies:
Flying Butress (250 Wood, 250 Coin) (+30% Building HP)
Smokeless Powder (250 Food, 250 Coin) (+30% Gunpowder unit siege attack)
Christian Schools(100 Wood, 100 Coin) (-15% Villager train rate) age III

Every team has 2 nats (1 Aztec + 1 Jesuit) close to their TC's, which are in building range. In 1vs1, there are no extra nats on each side of the central river, while in 2vs2 there are 2 extra native posts (1 Aztec + 1 Jesuit) and in 3vs3 4 extra native posts (2 Aztec + 2 Jesuits). The central crossing is large enough for 1vs1 and 2vs2 fights, while it might get a little bit tight for 3vs3 heads up fights. You might have to move to the flanks to fight!
Mind the stats on the Aztec Eagle Warriors! In comparison to the Eagle Runner Knights from Aztec, these guys have extra damage vs heavy infantry instead of cavalry.

Shoutout goes to @Rikikipu for explaining how to alter a tech via triggers, @Durokan for the ESOC Natives Guide, which makes things a lot easier, if you wanna spice your maps up with natives! Lastly, @_NiceKING_ for implementing the triggers.

one thing though, is there a way to better balance the resources and treasure counts on the base sides?

After a first time playing the map my resumee is, that it needs more wood. really had problems with that (i played aztec). the design of the map is nice! and i think ajiv said smt about bad res spread in that game. His team mate had like 6 hunts while he had 2 iirc.

Yeah, i already expected the wood problem. Sometimes it is hard to estimate how much wood these forests have.

There shouldnt be really a hunt problem. Since they are restricted to quite a small area. 3rd/4th Hunts are still closer on a bad distributed toluca map than on andes or orinoco

i played a few games on it and my resources never fall. Same other team. just spamming like crazy and we get a draw.

I think the texture combination of the ground plus the lighting is a little straining. Perhaps make the lighting midday or have a more mild ground. Otherwise, from my experience in 1v1, tonnes of resources and it's a decently big map. I like the orinoco taste in the middle while on the sides there's room to play around. Overall 8/10

I had to use a different lightning, because else you would get eye cancer, just like on snowy plains
