lol you guys are a fucking joke
edit: oh nice the above comment I was replying to has been edited to " " It was previously stating that the video of cheadar being shot with an airsoft gun was not going to be released because esoc mods moved their post to the correct subforum. This was coming just after I said they probably weren't going to follow through on their promises.

Well we've set the deadline that all rewards will be out by next telethon. We will stick to that deadline but we never promised anything sooner because we knew it would take time.

so 1 year? I don't remember seeing that, or any time line given, but perhaps there was (provide link to that>?). that's ridiculous though... 1 yr. Doing so in timely manner increases your credibility to make your next telethon more successful. Some people gave 100 bucks and I would think for all the accolades you guys have received for doing it for charity should make better efforts thanking those people. Just what I think about it seems unprofessional to wait that long.

I didn't say they would take a whole year just that they will all be done by then guaranteed. We lead very busy lives, and we have also been contributing other content to the community for example with Fight Night.

it does not seem to be a priority, like how hard is it to take a video of cheadar dancing on phone and send it out? maybe 5 mins? or sign a card. yes we are all busy but busy people know how to get things done. Busy people do not procrastinate. just sayin, not buying excuses.

Well it takes time to do things correctly and we have other priorities at the moment (school, work, etc.) that take precedence.

Your flaw was expecting that we'd do something that is merely expected. The basement strives to exceed the expected!

Re: The people of ESOCommunity vs The Basement for not fulfilling their promises
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am assuming that the event received quite a bit more attention than what was expected. I'm sure that even the amount of people that donated was also unexpected. Thus, this could feel overwhelming, particularly when people have other obligations in life. Patience is certainly needed here. Patience with all parties. Everyone who played a role in this is awesome so let's all give each other some slack.
