iNcog Appreciation Thread
iNcog Appreciation Thread
Hey all,
I just wanted to make a thread to show my appreciation of iNcog, and all his work in the earlier days of ESOC. Share your fondest memories of him here.
My turn:
I think iNcog's most significant contribution would be setting up the Strong World Series here on ESOC, as well as his unique anime/manga discussion threads. We had a rough start, but i managed to grow accustomed to his demeanor and grew to respect him.

Re: iNcog Appreciation Thread
My relationship with incog was rocky in the beginning but he grew to be a great guy by the end of his role in the administration. And when he stepped down from his position, he recommended that the staff #modtheear, which really gave legitimacy to the movement. I'll never forget that he did that!

incog was a cool guy, used to be a good moderator as well. The only time we had a disagreement it was about veganism but I've forgiven him

As ear said, things were rocky at the start, but things got much better. He supported #modtheear which showed his foresight and knack for finding good leaders. He also worked hard on many things in the community like tourneys and such.

I remember when I very first came to the community, incog was the first person to introduce himself here on ESOC, I'm sure he's forgotten but that's stuck with me ever since.

I really miss his smart comments and I think we could really use his truly unbiased leadership. Leaving the forums over some veteran crossbowmen may not have been worth it.

This thread is nice to see :)
Incog was one of the finest people in this community. I think people often forget how much he did at the very beginning when we turned this place from a tournament scheduling forum to a community hub. Incog did most of the reskinning back then, and a lot of moderating in the first year we were online. His passion ran high sometimes, but for the right reasons. Hope he finds his way back here at some point.

Re: iNcog Appreciation Thread
I talked with incog quite recently and it seemed he had been done with ESOC as a whole, though I indeed may have triggered him. We're getting ok together, he just doesn't have much time nowadays.
