I've been practicing taekwondo for fun for a few years now. I have no idea what kind of moves you are referring to but I do recommend getting into martial arts as a sport as it's very exciting and healthy.

Hi, I've practice jjui-jitsu for a lot of years and it's really really good. It's a complete martial arts. What I would love to try is or Krav Maga or Sambo Combat both seems to be really awesome.

Re: Martial Arts
I spent some years learning Hapkido, then Aikido, and trained a little with a Filipino friend in kali escrima (knife fighting)
I took a few classes of tae kwon do but didn't really enjoy it, and wasn't into the sport side of sparing.
Once you learn the hard style as tae kwon do I would suggest learning aikido or hapkido, they are basically the same but aikido is entirely defensive working on the theory, do not get hit, do not get hurt, and using other opponents energy to deflect. its what Steven Sagal uses in his movies.
Kali was pure lethal knife fighting techniques

You'd need practise partners and people that participate in fights for it to be a martial art I suppose.
People that are going to practise ball kicks on eachother are insane.
