Keyboard suggetions?
So I'm finally building a computer for myself and I need to figure out what keyboard I should get. I have already decided on a mechanical keyboard but not sure on what specific ones. Give me some suggestions! (nothing really dumb and ugly)

Mechanical keyboards are great, you should aim something around 40$ at least if you want something decent.

if you don't want that RGB LED garbage, this is a decent alternative:

The logitech G910 is also on sale on amazon for $135, but it is bigger (includes a wrist rest). It's based on personal preference really.

I am actually a big fan of this apple keyboard: http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MB110 ... h?fnode=56
It is probably the best membrane/non-mechanical keyboard out there, and the short travel is very nice for typing speed and even gaming.
For mechanical keyboards: https://www.amazon.com/Storm-QuickFire- ... s=cm+storm
This one is really good, and I dont like ones that have number pads, so I recommended this one.

looks like a nice keyboard. I'm not sure that I like "clicky" keyboards but I don't touch type either. Have you used those media controls much?

Corsair keyboards, and personally i use the Razer Blackwidow, its exspensive but its lasted 2 years for me and has macro keys on the side
Re: Keyboard suggetions?
Corsair keyboards are no good. Crap software: badly coded, high CPU usage, awkward interface and animations don't work without the software.

I've been enjoying my Das Keyboard 4 quite a bit so far. I like the look of nothing being written on the keys and the clickiness is very satisfying.

I'd say any grade is fine except for...
*wait for it*
BASEMENT tier stuff
ba-dum-tsss
P.S. do you sometimes forget which key is which without any markings?

He can always write the appropriate marking on the keys if he needs!

Re: Keyboard suggetions?
It depends on what your play-style and preference is with a mechanical keyboard.
If you type quick - go for a keyboard with Cherry-MX blues
If you like a good feedback from the keyboard - go with Cherry-MX brown
This guide can explain better than I can: http://www.keyboardco.com/blog/index.ph ... -switches/
Don't go with anything other than Cherry MX. The Razer keyboards have an ok Razer-Green switch, but thats really just a rip-off of a Cherry-MX blue.
As for my personal keyboard preference I prefer the Logitech G170+ over anything else I have used.
