Post by WickedCossack »

Hi I just picked up the original Dawn of War 1 (and expansions). If anyone wants a game let me know.

I was inquiring about GTA, never said I'd buy it. :P

Plus RTS4lyfe bruv.

I have a 10% winrate in multiplayer so far on DoW. Such a pro.

CoH is better, but I'm not a fan of this type of RTS in general. Can see the appeal I suppose

Its more micro intensive for sure but a lot less macro which is a shame. Still there are so few RTS I like nearly all of them. Plus the necrons are a pretty cool civ/race ...

I have not. I take it you recommend it? Looks as old as brood war. Multiplayer active?

Surprisingly, yeah. The game didn't have multiplayer when it came out, but a couple of guys took it upon themselves to rewrite the entire game engine with added multiplayer (http://www.kamremake.com). And yes, I recommend it. It's one of my favourite games of all time.
If you want it I can send you the game over skype, it's like 150 mb.

Torrented it. There's no need to have a legal copy of the game, as you will be installing the (free) remake on top of it anyway. Not sure the remake will even work with the steam version. The original game doesn't go above 1024x768 :P
