Does anyone do the aztec firepit button upgrade?

It's actually crazy how good it is. Whoever doesnt should definitely check it out. It amplifies the x2 exp effect of the explorer to x3. It is hard to put in words how good that actually is because of the bad fame the exp aura effect has of not being very useful. It feels as effective as having three exp tps whenever you are fighting. In any case, the upgrade cost almost nothing, so it doesnt matter even if it happens that i am exaggerating.

Just give it a try. It is actually really good.

The tech is so cheap and the payout seems worth it. The reason you never see it much is because Aztecs is a civ that is rarely played. Either you're really good with control groups or playing it out in age 2 will be really difficult.

imo most players just overlook it since almost noone mains aztec atm... its very good for its price, in a first small fight it should already pay back 100+ xp, and in a bigger one a lot more..

i wrote that in the "give aizamk new ideas for builds" that he should pls design a build around it a cpl of weeks ago..

..doesnt look like anybody of the decent players made any build around it yet, it seems pretty good, i use it for iro and sioux FFs, gives you like 4~ shipments as soon as you are age III for 1,5k ress. then again, like this guy said, hardly anybody plays natives atm..

This is something garja once suggested to me when I was preparing for kingofosmane. Pretty cool, 3x xp tech for the shrines you're sieging.

i always get it when i play greed. When you rush, sometimes you cannot spare the res, even though it's quite cheap. And on top of that, the warchief has to be alive for the tech to matter, and when you rush the warchief is often on the frontlines and so dies quickly and you can't really spare any vils to dance him back quick enough. So it's not worth it in that case.
