Best/Fairest RE maps?
Everyone knows the RE maps are generally pretty awful, but for rated games on RE patch they are all we have. As I'm fairly new and the last time I played a bunch of games on RE maps (like a month ago) I was too much of a noob to really pay much attention to them, I don't really know which of them are the least terrible. So here's my question:
If I were to host rated games on RE, what map(s) should I choose to destroy the game as little as possible?

The ones with the fairest distribution of resources are very nonstandard maps ... so Deccan, Texas, Hispaniola ...
... and the ones with the crappiest distribution are often the most standard maps ... Great Plains, Ozarks, Bayou
Siberia/Himalayas/SilkRoad are probably your best. Mongolia is up there as well and possibly Saguenay, though ofc all can bug and do quite often. Probably missing 1 other.
I will say RE/MS made a god job of giving every map a different feel and play-style though. There's something unique about every map and conceptually they are very well designed as a map pool. Just the execution was shit so most are unplayable competitively. You can still get interesting games though.
Edit: I remembered Yucatan is quite nice.

ffs
My apologies, I site searched fairest re map (didn't think to add "Best" into title until like 15 seconds before posting because was really looking for fairness not awesomeness or something) as well as scanning the last few (didn't get to 5 apparently) pages of the most relevant forum sections. Guess I should have searched best as well, that would have found that thread.
As that thread basically confirms all re maps are pretty hopeless I guess I'll just stick to QS for rated RE games.

When great plains spawns right its the best in my opinion. The problem is that it almost never spawns right.
Re: Best/Fairest RE maps?
Silk road. It just has Sh!t mines

^ so that's quite a big deal, right?
Re: Best/Fairest RE maps?
Its better than having hunt screws, which silk road doesnt have.

yukon is generally ok, i like siberia too. great plains, silk road, mongolia are all nice
as long as you can get a starting hunt and another hunt after that, i'm mostly ok with RE maps. except carolina which is a piece of crap, since you get neither starting nor second hunt

If you don't get river spawn, Andes is a solid map too (on top of the others ppl are saying). Himalayas is a pretty good team map especially.
