Well, he basically said that he had known about AoE4 6 months prior and that he doubted it was gonna be about modern times. Other than that, it's just hippo kek and cringe killa_b

Pretty much what pecelot said. The guy doesn't think it will be set in a futuristic age, from what he's heard. He recount's AoE2's incredible popularity and attributes the time period to it, but he thinks it might encompass a broader overall time period but it won't be "futuristic" or even "modern day" era really. Otherwise, no other info. He knew about the announcement for 6 months prior but I'm really skeptical how much of the game has actually been produced so far. I'd garner it's still in its conceptual form. Dude has to be under a heavy NDA.
