P i k i l i c Classic Tournament
It's been nearly a year since the Diplomunion Tournament. Titans clashed, battles fought and most importantly Hleung beat tedere 2-1. This time could it be different? It is.
I want to give back to the community of ESOC (The ESOC-C). One thing surprises me every day that despite the bitterness and drama there are always new and cheerful people on this forum. It is these people that watch the streams, support the players and play the ESOC Patch. The people keep the forum alive. Some people say that the forum is dying and the posts are terrible. These people continuously prove otherwise. This tournament is dedicated for them.
The prize pool will be my first paycheck of the summer - around $300-350 USD. Any donations are welcome and go straight to the prize-pool. You will have the option should you win to donate the winnings to a foundation of your choice or you may keep them. I also bought a new mouse today which I might chuck into the prize pool - only available if you donate the winnings to charity.
The official rules and map pool will be released in two weeks. Signups start today - follow the link below.

Please note that for your entry to count you must be in the discord server: https://discord.gg/zqMKvn4
The tournament will start on a date subject to change (not drastic by any means) - TBA (most likely after Christmas 2017).
p.s @P i k i l i c is my favourite guy on the forums but if you don't want this names after thats fine and i'll change it :).
p.p.s Hleung is helping me im excited. If you want to help out as well with casting or staff work then please pm me. Thank you.

Re: P i k i l i c Classic Tournament
I wonder if a different format for this could be good. I think the community is a little burned out on these long drawn tournaments that show up between the main ESOC tournaments (I think this is like the 6th or 7th tournament since the last one?)
How about doing a 1-day or weekend format? I imagine it would be easier to get motivated to play something like that.

Actually we have got a similar suggestion from diarouga. However, since the rules have been posted for quite a while and some people have already signed up, it might not be a good idea to change the format all of a sudden. Anyway, yes, we (Jakey and I) will definitely explore this idea further and possibly find a way to implement the ideas in the next tourney. Thank you for your input.

Depends how many people sign up. Sometimes it's just not practical. There are many things to consider such as format of games due to length and the availability of casters. I will investigate this however.

Come on, we may just have the big bois signing up, with potential finals being Ryan vs rouge one. Give it a go!

If Ryan and Diarouga are willing to sign up for it then yes. I am a big fan of them both!
