As it turns out we landed on a result (4-3 SoldieR) which was not all that expected. Most bet on was 4-2, odds x4.4, while the 4-3 is rocking record-breaking odds at x12.4. Considering this was the last round, people bet risky and people bet big. This means a lot of losers, but huge winners. Exactly how I like to see it.
Gibson stands out this round with a 1000 point bet on the correct result and finds himself winning 8360 points. Nice! Look out for this guy in the summer event, he''s been looking very solid with his predictions throughout and despite the major setback a few rounds ago where he lost 3000 points, he ended up in a solid second place anyway. Jsimons1289 is our winner! He had 10000 points on SoldieR winning and another 500 on 4-3, netting him a 6780 point profit landing him on the biggest point total ever in AoE3 bets history, 19695. Close one though, had Aiz won that last game jsimons would''ve been all out of money. Anyway, this is a success story if I''ve ever seen one in AoE3 bets:
Jsimons came in with an all in bet on the correct result in the Samwise12 vs KingOwnage match, winning him 4700 points. H2O vs Umeu, his bet was solid but H2O unexpectedly dropped a game which made our hero lose 850 points. Sam vs Musket he was right back in business though, winning 975, and it only got better after that. BSOP vs Aiz he again had 1000 points on the correct result winning 1690, black_thought vs dicktator he had 5500 on dicktator and 1500 on the correct result, a perfect bet winning 5400 points. Which brings us to this match, where he took an even bigger win: 6780 points. His total number of points bet: 27095.
