Hello my friends, my family, my fans...
I have been playing and editing a boat risk world/europe map extensively the past month or so (8 player). I'm planning to host a tournament for it in the coming weeks, starting signs ups here and advertisements on aoe3 TAD servers via open room.
The map I have been editing has no choke points, no pathing issues, no trees for example to prevent units getting stuck and so on and after playing it around 30 times now with 8 players I'm confident it is truly stable and balanced enough to offer it up for a tournament.
I kinda want to make a prize money pool and maybe ESOC community might help guide me in the right direction or help? As they have done so in the past with the standard 1v1 tournaments.
If you know anyone that can help with the prize pool fundraiser/offer any help in making this tournament an official thing on this forum I would much appreciate it.
I can make an official post soon and provide the map we will play on.
Sincerely,
Cocaine xoxo

If you make a full description, perhaps you can post it on the User Created Content board, so that people can find it there. Then link/copy the post here.
If there are enough people who like the idea, we can definitely offer support. In general, we really like members taking initiative and we have supported non-official-tournaments in the past. You should now focus on collecting feedback on the map and getting people excited to play it.
I personally don't know this scenario yet, but I have a lot of experience playing scenario's, and I would love to see a tournament focused on scenario's. Basically, it's using the AoE3 engine to play games other than AoE3. High-level colosseum (the scenario where you choose units to spawn and fight for the center of the map) or high-level cannibal (the scenario where 7 players have to build walls and towers to protect themselves from a very powerful enemy) sound like they could be very exciting to watch.
