You also can't hack a website by loading its main page. Well, it just so happens ESOC once got DDOSed by someone who essentially spam-refreshed the front page with a script.


To clarify a bit what happened:

Queen got invite spammed by some guy with weird letters. By "spam", I don't mean someone who would just be fast and invite over and over. More like, it was so fast that there was always the invite on her screen. No matter how fast she spammed the "no" button, the invite would still be here. So it did seem like a bot, and not like someone really inviting her.

Twice, after a few seconds of being invite-spammed, she got logged off eso. Eso wasn't down, I checked on my comp, it was just for her. Also it took way longer than usual for her to log back on eso, and once online, everything was slow (like it would be on a shit laptop overheating or sth).

The guy is apparently on a different patch (game title says "CRC Mismatch"), but when you click on his game/accept the invite, instead of saying "CRC Mismatch", it says "game not listed". So there is definitely something cheesy going on.
