Why mostly people don't like to play blitz

I hosted too much time blitz room and people join my room. Then after seeing Custom blitz map they leave and say no they don't like blitz and custom map :( .

You can better try on Tp or you ask in the T2T discord if someone wants to play. The very best one is to pm pp from the discord directly.

I personally don't like Blitz bc I just don't like it. It's not so balanced and the strategys are not so many there bc most pp want to play cliff or ask on Route to not run what is kinda not the idea of this map. But maybe @Gichtenlord could do some better blitz maps but a bird whispered me that he is pretty busy atm.
If he would add pink trees... I would love blitz

Blitz maps are very basic, the booms are more or less the same every time, some are too low or too high and you don’t get rewarded if you have good booming skills. Also running is either forbidden or too easy to abuse since you can’t really wall your base well.

But yeah it saves time and you can get a basic idea on how matchups turn out in real nr40 games. Also good for training art micro since its mostly heads-up with nats.

3-5 minutes are too much short. In Blitz you have 10 treaty :)

I think main point is that current blitz maps are very basic and start fight with 2 incan tps shifted the balance (i.e. buffed ger startfight, nerfed spains advantage at the beginning). If blitz was implemented on frequently used maps like andes or orinoco, it would be more popular.
The way I wrote the code, it was intended to be almost just copy and paste for other maps, but sadly I ran into problems when I first tried it on orinoco. Basically, different map sizes and map elevation affect if buildings can actually spawn, although I was aware of map size and I thought it wouldnt be a problem.
This error leads to the point that I would have to write new code for spawning buildings for each map, what's about (amount of civs)*(amount of spawn positions), which takes so much time, because it would be mostly trial and error.
Simplest solution would be shallow copies of favorite maps on my map templates which support blitztreaty already

Your point looks good. Also, in my opinion, you can improve blitz route map by placing Trade post not near to your town center.
