I think it's clear he values his time and he spends a good amount of it on forums, on twitch already. I can relate and I think it's great he's putting himself first and not giving into these really meaningless pseudo bribes. Besides, what is so fun about playing with that much pressure? It'd wreck my mental health regardless of the result.
