Why do you play Age of Empires 3?

Because of the variety in sc2 every map looks the same. Here we even have maps especially for the tournament

Imo the games variabiltity is what it makes so special .
If u imagine all these possibilities of making up a deck and because of this every game is different and that's why we don't get bored .
In addition the rank system might catch ppl to play since its innovative and makes people have something to play for

I started playing AoE/RoR when I was very young and got hooked. Every few years I would reinstall and play for a few months (any of the Age games). When AoE3 came out I probably played it more then any other Age game and consequently got very good at it. I come back to AoE3 from time to time because of the memories of all the great games I've been in and probably even more so because of the high level games I've seen played. The strategy is deep and I always feel like there is a new build that just hasn't been discovered (insert counter argument here). The hardest part about coming back each time is realizing I now stink and won't ever get back to where I was. But honestly that just means there is a much larger pool of players who can beat me and teach me something new. Makes for an epic experience!
