ok, so i just played on a widescreen monitor for the first time with high resolution. And WTF this makes such a huge difference for micro and stuff. It makes everything so much easier lol.
who of u plays on a small monitor and who on a big one?

I use my laptop when I'm not home and yeah it sucks. Then again my mouse sensitivity and keyboard are also different there so there are more factors at play.
I'm consciously bothered by the screen size (from 27" to 15.6") but I'm not sure if it actually hurts my play. I think if you're used to it and used to the mouse speed it's not quite that bad.

I always thought a smaller screen was better.. After all, it helps with map awareness and stuff.
I used to play on a 30 inch screen or something, that was so big that you dont see the minimap at all if you are looking at your army.
Also, regardless of screensize, mouse accuracy stays the same and depends on the mouse sensitivity. A larger screen only makes it easier to see what you are supposed to be doing exactly. How big of a factor that is, is hard to tell.
Also, I remember playing some shooter with a friend who is really good at shooters. He told me that it was easier to play if you put it at 800x600 res rather than the normal resolution. I tried that, and I think I actually did notably better.

1080p is where it's at
i have 24" myself, good size
1080p at 27" probably doesn't even look as good since you have fewer ppi than on 24"
this monitor is just the right size

I play etiher on 15.6" laptop or 23" desktop monitor. I used to play on my TV (42") when my laptop's screen passed away (not for long tho because it just screws your eyes)
imo beyond 24" it's just bad

Doesn't flash from sc2 measure his screen with a ruler so that it is his exact preferred size? So it surely does matter.

Recently switched from 1280x1024 to 1920x1080p
Had some difficult weeks after the change but now I'm enjoying the better view and the kinda new perspective

Really, I couldve sworn he also measured something on the screen.garja wrote:ahah, no he uses the ruler to place mousepad, kb, etc.jerom wrote:Doesnt flash from sc2 measure his screen with a ruler so that it is his exact preferred size? So it surely does matter.
Well, I could always start using a ruler to place my mousepad so I become better.
