How to balance the civs

Imho:

If we have to make a patch, that would be cool to know how to balance the game

Japan: Just forbid walls, like for sioux.
India: Just nerf the sepoy's HP, making the TC killing them in 2 shoots
China' They are fine imo
Iro: Just don't give them wood crates, so no TP and no market
Sioux: Nerf brs and rrs
Azzy: Fine imo, maybe remoove 1vill or 1 crate
Dutch: Put them like they are in nilla
Spain: Give them 5 lancers and 9 rods^^
Otto: Nerf jans, making them as bad as muskets
France: Fine
German' Nerf the uhlans
Brit: Fine, maybe nerf a bit their eco
Port: Give them abus in colonial lol
Russia: Give them a decent fortress potential.

What do you think about that?

I didnt say increase the starting vill count though.

Isnt what you are proposing TWC Dutch where they were the best civ after iro (remember, bank wagon was added there).

I think slightly increased bank exp plus 2 falcs will put them exactly at the level of france. Then nerf the other OP poopie.

would be nice if portugese villagers train 10% faster or 10% cheaper or both. Russia has that advantage but with portugese it would be more effective

India: Increase RicePaddy HP by 50
China: 1
Iro: +delete Warchief boost
Sioux: +Make Tipis acctually good/usefull
Azzy: Give all Coyote/ERK/Jaguar the treasure convert option + change name of the Skull Knight dance (Flower Dance lol)
Dutch: Give Envoys +5Attk.
Spain: 1
Otto: +delete the mosque XP trickle
France: delete them from the game
German: Give them 1 Uhlan in Age I! That Interjection hype!
Brit: Let the Manor houses heal faster (with the card that is)
Port: Give them vill shipments (3+5) and a 2nd spyglass
Russia: give all units exept strelets the voice of russian heavy cannons. They sound so badass

Its not Japans fault that walls are too strong. Nerf walls in general instead of forbidding them for the civ that makes the most use of them.

This is hitting India in the wrong place. Sepoy at least give India early game options, but its their eco and unit composition in the later stages that gets out of hand.

Jans arent the problem. Problems are Ottos speed, abus and the mam shipment.

Well, how would you nerf russia? Two ways, either make them better in colonial (make their timings good enough to punish a semi ff), or make their fortress decent to allow a semi ff.

Port don't need abus in colonial' just give them a vil shipment. Also, nerfing uhlans would make Germany a terrible civ - 5 uhlan already loss to 5 huss.

I think all of those would fail, someway.

imo we CANT make so many changes at once.
ES tried doing it how many times? 15 patches in nilla? 6 twc and 4 in tad? dont remember the number, but all patches changed a lot of stuff, and all patched made another civ op by accident. every single patch.

Imo A new patch should change as little as possible, see how the mete adapts, and make another small changes.

changing many things in every civ just changes the game completely, in impredicted ways..

Port with abus in colonial wouldn''t be as op as otto are curently.

As for otos: change abus atack to deal "ranged" dmg, instead of "bombard", so units RR have effect.

I was wondering it the age up resource to be changed for some civilisations.
For example for india instead of 800 food, to be 800 wood because they use wood for villagers and same with dutch (to pay with 800 coin).
and then to start with normal for III, IV and V age.
same food and coin resources :D
