Silk road is a very nice map but it sucks you can''t take an early trading post. Also the fact that you have to build a building next to your tp to make sure your enemy doesn''t steal it is very annoying.

Because it's the main feature of the map. If you remove that you have a random dull map.

I think Silk Road without the random BS TPs and random BS Market would be a good and enjoyable map, if only it were balanced.

We have to include Indonesia so the Bonengs and Kynesies of the world don't come at us with pithforks... but in all seriousness, it is good to have a couple heavy water maps. And better Indonesia than a retarded map like Ceylon or Honshu.

And I don't understand why everybody here loved SR so much. It's a campy map with overpowered natives (I have been rattan shield/pike rushed more times than I care to admit)' giving it normal tps won't make it any more balanced.

Ideally I would like to see a nice mix of not just straight land maps, but land and maps with some water that can be viable for boat booming. Just makes things more interesting then the extremely standard land maps rotation that have been preferred by many for a long time. Need some change!
