Is it better to play with some music?

Idk about sup but music definitely helps me enjoy treaty more, idk if I would be able to get through a treaty game without music. The only problem is sometimes I forget to turn on the game sound before the treaty ends or I don't turn it up enough, and I end up missing a ping or something.

I just really enjoy playing with music, even if it makes me worse at playing.

Like someone else said, I listen to music during team games to haves something while it lags. But it definitely decreases performance.

The only time I listen to music while being competitive is teh 40min treaty while I start up. I got a playlist of orchestral from the elder scrolls games of Oblivion and Skyrim, with some Sins of a Solar Empire music too (good rts game by the way) that adds to just under 40- minutes.

lyrics nuke performance I think in general. but music while playin gis up to the person''s personality/temperate' how their brain functions with music while doing another task. I got a friend who sucks and then kicks butt when he listens to his music, and it has lyrics. He get''s uber focused.

i guess its makes a diffence playing sup. - or treaty. In sup.game - I dont like load music. Never watch 40 min treaty - maybe u need someting to amuse you while waiting at the game to start:)

i straight up watch tv for 10 min on some civs in nr40

Why would anyone do that? I hate streams that play music and wont watch them. If I wanted to listen to music while watching a stream, Id play mine.

Because I personally find it boring to watch streams with in-game music. When watching tr games i prefer war like music with lot of thrill. Rush i prefer more of suspense and mystery kind off music. And I am sure there are people like me who also enjoy music rather than in-game sounds. But at the same time players cant listen to it so they just stream it.

It's not only listenin music, it's also singing along with it to my skype audience. (Chusik,Erik,Fard,Somppu) But they're such a disrespectful crowd and tells me to shut the fuck up :'(

the awesome thing of music - to me - is that one can only have a preference in music, that one cant objectively call something beautiful, superior or shit. Therefor, the most beautiful music cannot exist.
