Sioux-Opinions
I love Sioux, but they are relatively underused in the current game, and don't get much attention. I think that they are a relatively strong civ, especially when played by a skilled player. I would love if they are changed in the upcoming patch, because their ability to get to fortress is somewhat limited. Their initial colonial is strong, but there are just like no upgrade cards offered. Their raiding potential is great, but their infantry and pretty lackluster.

Sioux would probably need to be rebuilt from the ground up to properly balance them. You know there's something strange going on when your cav upgrades are found with your plantations and farms...

They just need to be restructured. Their cavalry are incredibly overpowered, their infantry are incredibly underpowered, and their fortress play is pathetic.

bowrider and wardchief needs nerf ofc, but axe rider is some weak i think. they only have 250hp 20% resistance (even indian sowar has 250hp 30%rr, and boyar cossack has 258hp 30%rr), and only deal 0.75 to dragoons. without warchief aura they're just shit.
and sioux infantry are....
in fact 3 native civs' warchief are all op.

they have a really high att iirc, i think theyre fine

Sioux's fortress is actually very strong. A timing at 11-13 mins will destroy most civs.

They have high attack against most units, but get beaten by their counter unit - it''s a trade off. If they had that negative multiplier taken away, they would be too OP against skirm/goon compositions.

Sioux are gay, they just like shit maps, which is a reason why they are broken... A civ that relies on mapscrews to win isn't really an interesting civ imo. As gay as playing vs jan rushes or cepoy rushes on no food map... Depends on the way sioux are played ofc, but mostly people lame with them in qs

I agree that Sioux are broken but they are a fun civ. If BR got fixed alittle bit and inf got a slight boost (along with some other obvious fixes) I think they could be better that way without completely messing up the whole idea of the civ. Their cav is obv supposed to be strong but it leaves them so they basically can't use inf. I also hate that stupid siege dance >.< gosh, even more annoying then opri box lol

they are a bit cheaper than hussar but sioux dont have steel trap so its fair. and costing too much food isnt always good: you dont have unlimited hunts.

Dog soldiers obviously opaf.... In TR esp team a FU dog box is gg because not even goon can catch them and cant kill them if they do
But ax should be a bit better if they are going to cost 160 f ... Ouch . Frankly im convinced the only cav sioux should even use age 2 is shipments. Sioux should get cowing techs as they became great ranchers in RL as soon as cows came

We are talking are Age 3 units, so the attack is higher than 35. And my point still stands - if the cav have too high melee attack against anticav, they become broken.
