I know that Warsaw is a city in Poland and that it's the Warsaw pact which was a military alliance (vs NATO, i.e. the Atlantic alliance) of the Eastern Block. I don't know stuff about which came first between Warsaw Pact or NATO, I don't know where the USSR ends either.

I should look it up and try to remember it, since it's important history. Agreed. But I know that Warsaw is a city at very least. Treaties, alliances and pacts tend to be named after cities. Traité de Versailles, Treaty of Tordesillas, Munich Agreement, etc. So me saying Warsaw is implicitly talking about the Warsaw Pact. x)[/spoiler]

I propose grouping all Central and Eastern European countries into one big group. Balkans region, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic.

Hungary, Romania, etc. would also be included in this group if people from those countries sign up.
