As I said the everyone quit now is the time where we have a race to become Darwin. Who can play second easiest civ in the game vs mediocre players and get high elo. Currently many are trying but lain world is in the lead.

I was avoiding doing the 14 vil rush thing, plus he knows to spam cossacks mid colonial so basically if you dont get a block house down to cover the RE hunts you dont win. fun civ

LOL, russia is defenitely one of the easiest civ,
i played them maybe 40-50 games and now, i probably know most things about that civ, anybody can do so, no point in discussing russia's hardness, its pretty easy civ,
way 1 = make 23 stre rush spam everygame (may result you get 5 cav'd)
way 2 = make 5 musk send 5 coss rush + boom (may result your middle game will suck)
way 3 = make steel traps up and do making units 20-30 sec delay (may result your opponent outplay you)
the ways that russia can do is pretty simple, it's not even arguable subject lol

I mean you just play quick search and continue to build a blockhouse on their second hunt while all in'ing. If they get a good map then you have to have skill unfortunately.

I dont think they're too hard but I doubt they're the 2nd easiest. Otto Iro India all seem slightly easier as well as being much better

Putting a few vils on wood, making vils, dropping an agra in the middle of the map, shipping sepoy and making sepoy is hard? Of course you have to have semi decent macro skills to get up at a decent time, but the same can be said of Russia as you have to have semi decent macro skills to not idle tc for 30 seconds before you age. How hard a civ is to win with also has to do with how strong the civ is. Playing an aggressive play style, both India and Iro are quite a bit better than Russia, making them easier civs to win with.

Mechanically Russia is easier, the batch feature helps a lot. Stylistically is perhaps a bit harder because you need to play macro style, producing stuff and leading the game to the point where you just autowin. Sometimes you need to avoid battles and buy time or stuff like that.
In any case Russia is like the 2nd choice for noobs when they start the game.
