Hi Zutazuta, I love what you do! I waited some time to find decent games to submit to you. I have three games I'd like you to analyze- plz prioritize my game vs Osmane first, my game vs Japan second, and my french vs german last, if you do have time to get to it.
I'm PR 22 by the way.
In my game vs Osmane, I struggled with bad hunt, and was forced to play age 2 vs France as Germany. I'm looking for advice on how to adapt and play under those circumstances. In general any advice on how to beat France musk huss mass as Germany would be appreciated- even in games where I'm age three I sometimes struggle to kill the musk huss mass.
In my game as Germany vs Japan, I was surprised by how well I did. I think the Japanese player made a mistake by following me up to the third age. I built WW because I saw a stable but the Japanese player was never able to mass enough to oppose me. I would like advice on what decisions to make when versing Japan, and when is a good time to push out in age 3.
In my game as France, I fought age 2 verse a German player (it actually happened before I played the game vs Osmane where he beat me in the same fashion). I feel that age 2 France is very strong against Germany, and I would like any and all advice on how to deal with it/ take advantage of its strengths. Also, certain decisions, such as when to go age 3 as the French player (I'm very new to France) and whether I made the right decision in the last game, are things I'd like to know :)
Also, I want to mention that I don't use hotkeys and my macro is often very slow because of it :(

I removed a different game and replaced it with this German v France game. I don't understand why I lost this one. I was doing well in colonial, protecting my tps, and aged up slightly behind france. I had a WW skirm uhlan composition, but apparently France has a stronger age 3 composition in this matchup. Choose this game or my game v kingofosmane first plz

so you get one shrine max and dopps cost tons of recourses and they are kinda useless in age 3

I agree, Dopps aren't very useful vs Japan. They are slow and easily picked off, and slow down your age up considerably. A couple pikes after a 700 wood shipment seems like a better idea IMO. On maps with trade posts I like to semi FF with uhlan and crossbow to protect my posts while I age... As well as do scouting and possibly idle Japan's vills/ call MM.

If you want to siege shrines before ageing up, better make pikes. They're faster to train, they move faster, they siege more, and with wood crates they're cheaper. Not sure it's worth aging up later to have those tho

Hey Zuta, what are your thoughts on doing an analysis of a first person point of view (like a VOD). Mainly focusing on the mechanics aspect, such as unit control/control groups, etc, and how to improve?

I wouldn't be completely against it. Would depend on the situation.

Hey,

I have been focussing on playing Japan for the past few weeks. In my opinion it is really one of the most complicated, but most rewarding and fun civs in the game. Anyways... I have some struggles against a well played France. I recorded a game and I was wondering if you would maybe have the time to check it out and give out some advice.

I've added two vids. In the first i get beat, probably because I let him built TPs and didn't fully shrine boom... The second is a rematch where I beat him (1st leut), with a crazy 300 export start!

I'm really eager to get your opinion on these matches, thanks in advance!
