Smackdown Analysis

@zutazuta, would you mind looking at a Fanpatch replay for me? Got some hype civs (bringing out the new Ports, my main) vs China. I resign in the end, but it's very close/back and forth with me trying to break out of a contain. I'm pr 17 (up from 14 in the last one) and my opponent, ChinaBrooken (adequate name) is pr19. For whatever reason he doesn't show up on ladders...?
I get caught off guard by the initial 7steppe shipment raid, probably could have done better thwarting those.

A few specific questions:
-What are the times I probably should have pushed out? I've looked at the replay myself and think there definitely are a few opportunities I missed.
-Should I have tried to spare 5 huss to raid him, and relied more on my TCs for defense in the middle of the game?
-I was specifically trying to practice land, so I used a land deck, but I probably should have taken water especially when I started to stack wood near the end.


PS I'm dumb and I just realised I totally forgot to scout the top coin mine :/ mb

Zuta, I got a rec for you! Recently Samwise uploaded some games where he played as Russian vs Japan. He won all, so I copied his build and tried out myself (also vs Japan). The thing is that you ship 700w first and make your blockhouse at the time you just hit age II. I still lost and I don't know what I did wrong (apart from an earlier attack I maybe should've done). How can I improve this build into a win? (Played on FP)

(Not sure if I can watch live, but I'll surely watch the past broadcast!)

Hey Zuta I have a German Mirror between me and h20 on great plains, can you just tell me what to fix , I am not to caught up as to why I lost as h20 would have won either way as he is a much better player than I am but just if you could tell me what to improve e.c.t that would be great

Hey zutazuta, I have another replay for you. I played a few games on EP vs WickedCossack (pr25) the other day, and I had a few questions about it. I felt like he was certainly the stronger player. That aside, what can I do to become a better player? I would like general gameplay tips (i tried to keep the box in mind ), but more specifically, what can I do given the current situation I was in? I felt like I was able to hold the pressure, but never push out or continue to grow my economy. What should I do to try to win this game?

Hey Zuta, this is a match between me (French) and Goodspeed (Otto) on ESOC Kamchatka. Although he is a vastly superior player, I think he was trying a few new things and I felt as though I had a couple of windows of opportunity that I squandered. First, I want to know what kinds of things I can do to improve my scouting, as I made multiple incorrect assumptions about what he was doing. I expected early age 2-ish pressure, but once I saw the 3rd TP I expected him to go fort and rush for either the Manchu or the Mams in his deck. I re-macro'd around this, and then lost the first real fight quite hard despite being up in military population.

In your opinion, should I have gone straight samwise build and focused on age 2 pressure, or was it the right decision to spend my huss idling his vills while following to fortress? Also, once in fortress, what kind of composition should I look for against Cav archer+abus? Of course, any and all tips are welcomed, don't hold back on my scrubby ass .

Hi Zuta, I have a few games attached which I would appreciate your analysis on. Three are from winter group stages, and the other is a 1v1 vs King of Osmane. I was pr 20-22 when playing these games. If there are too many, please analyse game 2 and 4, before/as opposed to 3 and 1
