can't hotkey fast enough

Sometimes when I play, i'd like to do


my "find rax" hotkey is "a" and my "make musk" hotkey is "z"

a-z-z-z-z to make 4 musketeers out of a rax. this works perfectly

but when I do

a-z-a-z

to start a batch of musk in each rax, the second rax doesn't get selected when I hit the second "a"

I need to do

a-z- wait - a-z

and if i don't wait then it just queues 2 musks in the first rax

is there no work around?

i like to select each rax individually since it's really fast if yo'ure doing bow pike or a mix of different infantry types

You need to lower the value I guess.

Just put all raxes or tcs in a ctrl group, select press hotkey done

Dont even have to take a look at it

I think you have me on skype, message me and we can do screenshare show me what your problem is. I have spent a lot of time thinking through stuff like this. The answer might be that you should take up a different approach to making units.

I use this with tc (hzhzhz) and do not have problems, though I do notice when I do that it seems to not always setup evenly. My guess is that there is some delay with this method since I can test that I can type ''hz'' very very fast with perfect accuracy.

the threshold fix which is in options, which fatalimperium-sama gave me, worked out perfectly (tested it in game)

you probably have that setting on lowest (to the left completely), which is why it works out perfectly



this also makes it easier to play ports lol

Ah yes that option also makes a difference by even then you can be too fast for it
