Smackdown players wanted

It's been hard finding different high level players for each smackdown recently. Instead of asking around again, I figured it's probably better to make a thread about it.
Please reply here or message me if you would like to play the week after this one (week 23, june 6th) or the week after that (week 24, june 13th).
Keep in mind you have to be able to commit to playing at least a week in advance because we need time to bet on the matches.
There is a bias towards higher level players but even if you're not great at the game it helps us if you sign up because we may not always find top players.

Id consider it as well. Now that Im on summer vacation give me a month or so and I could probably get up to about the captain level. While thats still well below the level that normally is played on smack down if you need players it would be better then a random master sergeant.

Whatever happened to the possibility of Mitoe vs Aizamk on water maps for Saturday Smackdown? It was those players considering the challenge, yes?

I would have enjoyed to watch kynesie vs Garja, and on some semi-water maps like sag for instance.

I think it could be intersting to see how to deal with a "passive" playstyle, how to deal with some walls or how to counter water as Garja said in some past topics.

I can play I guess, the only problem is that on saturdays I might have something to do and it is not possible to cancel the match.

I understand why people have this attitude, real life appointments take priority over AoE appointments. But if you have nothing scheduled for saturday night yet and tell us you can play, can't you just say "no I have to play a showmatch" to whomever is going to ask you to do something that night? Just lock it down...
When you think about it, 200 viewers are counting on you to be on AoE. How many people are counting on you to do that other thing?

I would do that on another day but on saturday not really. It''s like the only day when I may realistically hang out at night with friends without having it planned in advance.

What week are we talking about, anyway?

I actually respect Goodspeed's opinion on the matter. Like there isn't that big of an AoE scene, but regardless, you gotta be diehard about it if you commit to a scheduled match at all. If you do, and then back out, well guess what? your reputation goes with you. And you can't just get that back next weekend.

My point is that whichever plan you made first, comes first. Dont get me wrong Im almost never on AoE on a saturday night, in fact Ive never watched a single smackdown live because I actually do have something to do every saturday. Maybe thats the reason why it doesnt sit well with me when people say they wont play because they MIGHT have something to do.
