FI Aztec Pros and Cons

What are the pros and cons of this strategy? How do you beat this? It's very lame.

I guess one of the pros is that few people know how to play against it right now. I certainly dont.

One of the cons is that its weaker than many othee strats aztec could use in some mus.

I'd say the main pro is that your opponent has to blindly change his BO because you can't win if he reaches the 4th age.

Like for example, France has to go for an agressive musk/huss build vs it, which is of course terrible vs late age 2 azzie timing. Same goes for Russia, they have to rush while against std play, the rush is probably the worst strat.
And there are really no ways to scout if the guy is goona FI or colonial untill too late.

The warchief itseltlf is just a retarded unit , no viable unit should have 4k ranged hp and move at 6 or 7 speed

Not with the speed card in age 3

Too easy to focus down with your units and you would keep on trading worse, because spies cost coin, while you can revive wc for free

Are we saying that Aztec age 4 is stronger than any other civ? E.g. You would play Aztec in Texas vs an equally skilled player playing almost anything?

I'm quiet interested as I feel I've missed a bandwagon here that I'm not convinced exists yet.

I feel like you could just boom, survive early age 4 and once you stabilize the explorer isn't enough. I do think you might go broke on RE maps before stabilizing.

It also feels super vulnerable to getting permabelled.

all you have to be is a bit creative vs this strat, and you can nuke it a 1000x ways. don't even have to do really weird starts, and its not that hard to scout either. just see if first shipment is 700w or 3wp and 10 vils go to dance early and you know whats up.
