If you don't beat Japan early on it's pretty much over for brit,ger and fre. You have to seriously outplay your Japan opponent after 10 mins. And that's why ppl do walls at japanese. Same kind of idea work against india also. Brit has a Windows but they surely lose laite colonial. Fre semi depends of using 2 falcs max potential. India can stay here age 2 longer anyways cause they got everything they need age 2. But oh my god if they get age 3 in a goodshape. Dat lamecake.

Well, even with walls and yumis, japan cant beat azzy/iro/otto.
Then, it isnt easy to play vs india, china, france and russia (even if everybody say jap>'russia).
It is a good civ but not as good as you think and harder to play than fre/german.

Japan easier than fre or ger, well no shit. I think u forgot i can also play Japan on some extent.

I didnt say you didnt know how to play jap but as a fre and jap player, I find France much easier, I mean choices like when to age or when to push or even unit compo are very easy as france but hard as jap.

yeah well fre is the easiest civ in the game but when youve played some games you know when to age or walls etc. I found out this on hard way vs nagayumi on ASC Hudson game.

It was vs sioux. You can stay in your town the whole game vs this civ, brs wont kill your shrines. Vs fre you have to push to protect your shrines, pikes destroy so fast.

I did. He indeed killed your shrines because he has nothing else to do but it was very late, you had the eco to reshrine.
