settlers and villagers

Ok so I was looking to the stats in one game and I noticed that there are both villagers and settlers trained in some games. How its this possible? Are the 4 from the otto consulated named settlers and the rest of the asian civs named villagers? If so, then how can japan make 4 settlers since they have no otto consulate?

Tad, twc and nilla vills are each an own unit. They share all the same skin when you play them with a civ, but are not treated as the same. You can still make 99 tad vills and have the 4 settlers from otto consulate

team aztec 3 villagers is one option too I think.

amongst the guys who queue into pr 35 qs its known that occasionally he magically gets some settlers. Not much you can do about it. I believe he cheats as I checked several other players japan games and never saw anyone with this type of stat discrepancy. In one of his recent games vs brit he generated 8 villagers which is so massive its crazy.

Its a 1v1 game, obviously if it were team he could get 3 from a team shipment.

4 Settlers
8 Settlers, 6 boats, and 44 villagers

I could go through his pages he does this is ~50% of his games. You check the stats too.

I would like to hear from people by which mechanism this would be possible since I honestly am not sure I know enough to say. When i noticed its always 4 or 8 i thought it might be the 4 villager card being bugged. But i checked dozens of games on other players and no one else has this stat line.

This guy is a cheater yeah, just check his agecomm units stats and you will find some fancy stuff
He doesn't always cheat tho, sometimes he plays like a 1 lt (i'm not exaggerating, you rush and win at 6 min or so), and sometimes he somehow gets op mass and eco without even having port consulate. He doesn't only spawn vils, also army I'm pretty sure
