@sdsanft and I played our round early. sdsanft won 2-0 in a couple of well-deserved wins by himself. Attached are recs if needed. :smile:

We can play an equally lopsided BO3 in treaty if you like. I am hardcore sup noob. :biggrin:

Two matches have been played today without the presence of any tournament admins and casters, and the players show some promising knowledge to the tournament rules and present us with some close games. GGs to all four players.
Just to confirm, it's 2-0 for both @sdsanft and @Ashvin
@Gear_Head Thanks for uploading, and yes, switching from treaty to sup can be difficult due to the BOs being quite different.

A nice wee bump of the thread for the next 2 weeks.

Why 2 weeks though Jakey?

Well thats because i've grown really tired and don't check my emails that much. No really I am behind on so much stuff. Hleung and I have decided that perhaps some people are a bit like me and don't check stuff much, we are allowing 2 weeks for each set, however we are increasing the games to be played to 8. Thats still the same amount of games in the same amount of time, but the timetable is much more flexible.

The next games for over the next 2 weeks are:

_Ulhan_ vs Inferous

aligator92 vs LordEdgeMaster

Bobabu vs DeepDashing

Pecelot vs LordFergus

Tedere12 vs Hleung

Almalek13 vs Breslau89

Just about all the contestants on the right are incidentally from Diplo, they should be on the Diplo Age Of Empires discord already, or very soon when I tell them to be there or be square. Everyone in the tournament should join the same server, so we can communicate between forums more effectively.

To join the server, please use this invite link: https://discord.gg/NCN9UtU

Thank you, and Good Luck!

~ From Jakey

&&

Nekoberk vs Shape_Shifter (Note Shape_Shifter broke the rules in the chat before the second game, so there is only one. Nekoberk is the winner)

Since I am failing to tag the people from the menu, I would just upload the replays between @tedere12 and me, and not correct Jakey's spelling mistakes in his previous post.

The first game was really close and an interesting one to watch as well, but sadly, our caster @me4rts had his game crashed and the replay became corrupted unfortunately and it does not make any sense to upload the replay for the first game. However the second and third games are still intact and they were streamed on twitch and uploaded to YouTube as well (@me4rts you've only uploaded the third game to YouTube, so I would just link your twitch stream instead).

Here's the link to the video: https://www.twitch.tv/me4rts/v/114934054

Very close games and definitely enjoyable overall. GGs & WP @Tedere12!
I don't know why I won 2-1, but it happened to be in such way, so that it's very likely I am going to play vs @pecelot in RO16.
I like Jakey's strict interpretation on the rules, something community-hosted tournaments seem to lack oftentimes. DON'T MESS WITH MY BOI

hmm... his "strict interpretation"? :hmm:

I don't think I had posted anything about the first game at all other than saying that the caster had his game crashed and the replay being corrupted as a result... :hmm:

If it's the attachment you're referring to, it's Game #3 that you saw, not Game #1, although the order of the attachments was messed up a bit.

Hi. Happy New Year to those who celebrate Chinese/Lunar New Year. Just an update from me again after nearly two weeks of absolute silence. We have entered the second half of RO32; the first half again had the issue with low turn-out due to the unreliability of certain low-level players, but I hope we are going to see some real matches going in the next few weeks. Here's the link to the updated tournament ladder: http://challonge.com/diploaoe3tournament2016

I would like to notify the following players for their RO32 matches.

@roiarthurbis vs @GKShaman
@bwinner1 vs @Steakgrillé
@sebnan12 vs @AlQuebus
@britishmusketeer vs @Ashvin
@P i k i l i c vs @agrondergermane
@MCJim vs @NekoBerk

Please schedule a time with your opponents to play the matches before February the 11th (Saturday) 00 hrs GMT. Thanks. Good luck all!

@NamikazeMinato @evilcheadar Just a reminder, as your opponents in RO32 have been disqualified in earlier stages, you have advanced to RO16 automatically.

I think Discord is currently recommended for scheduling purposes, as here there's no separate subforum for that and the notification system is broken.

Just a quick update. The matches Breslau89 vs @almalek and @bwinner1 vs @Steakgrille have been played.
It's 2-0 for both @almalek and @bwinner1
GGs all.

The recs for the match between Breslau89 and @almalek is attached to the post as per the rules. As for the other match, as Jakey, our dear tournament host, had managed to somehow sabotage his own computer, one of the replays became corrupted unfortunately, but still his stream could be revisited on twitch.
