Two brit mirrors. Both of us go uncommon BOs. The tassili game is more fun.
Since goodspeed's style (600w600w600g or 600w600g600g) is quite popular in japan mirror now, why isn't there a similar BO in brit mirror? Get to age 3 1 minute earlier, and dominate the game with cannons. I tried this but it seems not so good. Is it because brit isn't japan?

I don't get the idea of this MU (brit vs japan). Should I boom? or rush? or half boom half rush? 30% military 70% eco, or 70% military 30% eco?
longbow are better than xbow, but the typical xbow pike rush can spam xbow 10-10-10, while I can't spam longbow 10-10-10, so I can't really win a longbow-yumi fight.

Yes you can rush them with 2 raxes and create units in 10 by 10, it's pretty all-in like the arcaic french rush, in transition get the market and only improve the wood, if you have enough coin you can improve food too, build like 1-2 houses and get 400w asap for build both raxes at the same time, remember to age up with 500f tho'. In age 2 just go 700w, 600w, and adapt. It's pretty all-in tho', if the japanese player raids you with with ashis and you lose too many vills, you'll be fucked up, so herd the hunts a lot.

But it's hard to train longbow 10-10-10
1. Brit dont have 400w ageup
2. Brit cant go steel trap easily in early age 2, while french can
3. Longbow costs 60f each. 10 longbow=600 food

If I can't 10-10-10 longbow, they don't perform better than xbow in a fight vs yumi (and besteiro/tc fire/mm). And I can't boom at all if I go full all-in, which may not be the ideal way to play brit.
However if I start booming, japan can either do endless raiding (its easy to raid brit, while brit can only siege a few shrines), or do a timing push with naginata and daimyo, which is hard to beat. If brit lose the map control the game is over.

You age at 4:10 with brits, u can start some lb and harass the japan players' villagers, or pike and siege, and make longbows earlier. In my opinion british don't need to go double rax from the beginning because they out eco japan and they can outmass them. Focus on a timing at ~13 mins (when orchards run out of food)

I just wonder if in these musk exchanges(20 vs 20 for example), one player advances 2 or 3 frontline musks (one after the previous dies) along with the explorer by a few steps at the start of the engagement, will that move give an advantage provided everything else(like upgrade card timing) remaining the same?

I think you mean the trick with pulling one unit forward to tank the entire burst of fire on attack-moved muskets — yes, it's beneficial if you can pull that off, though good players can micro manually and ignore them.

It seems like wood is a pretty important resource for British for manor booming and for bows.Which brings to mind a question I wanna put forward-Is early log flume viable for Brit ?Or for Germany on Non TP maps with colonial bowpike agenda?Brits get 200c with tower as an option.Germany can mine 250c as an alternative to the TP.Brit can get an extra military outlet to quickly convert their big eco into big numbers like triple rax longbow spam.Germany needs to get big numbers of cheap units to compensate for the weak units(bow pike, facing Sioux or India for example on a non TP map). Also on non TP maps shipments are slower than otherwise.Wood generally is also the most abundant resource of all.

It's pretty greedy as it costs 400 resources. I usually get that when I know I can allow myself to do so during water booms or later in the game when natural resources have run out and you're left with a lot of vills on wood.
