Yesterday I was like so supersupersuper bored so I decided to log in. I was like, "aaaahhhh Kaiserklein"! Fresh meat to bash!

Well, it was kinda boring, I was eating baguettes and watching football and pushing my z key and suddenly I won the game. GGWP anyways Kaiser. Let's see next autumn if you have improved and we can play again.

Consulate rush wins in almost all games in tournament setting. I can recall it losing only once.

It's a gnarly timing vs the current semi ff meta. Requires special 2 rax play to counter and even then...4 sowars usually shows up at just the right time.

Sepoy and redcoats simply don't get punished by tc fire/mm/xbows - their stats are too high and 2 high hp eles provide a surprising amount of anti-li presence. The ability to march under a tc and idle/kill your opponents economy and not really lose the engagement and follow up with one of the best late age 2 compositions in the game is pre gud, I'd say. Eco india is probably just inferior.

I usually make LB from dual rax vs India...

I am yet to win a single game in that mu.

Perhaps Port should just send CM and make huss. Being able to raid would also lower India's mass slightly.

Maybe. Sending CM is such an iffy thing to do though. For instance once he has recognized this and scouted it (which can be done quit early) it becomes a bit of a wasted card early on.

Though I suppose a card that deters a rush/timing can be effective even if it does nothing outwardly...

Well I think you can also send it as the second card in colonial, when India will have already made a bunch of sepoy and probably allied with brit. So if they don't push, it's probably even better. Also having CM might give you the confidence of building your 3rd TC farther out for more map control.

I've also kindda lost repsect for optimized rigid BO's after seeing Aiz send random "really bad" cards such as confucious's gift, and then not seem to be behind at all.

Its in the end just a handful of units that you're losing, if your stronger TC fire even kills 3 or 4 extra sepoys and stops a rush then it's worth it.

You need straight ff vs sepoy rush, consulate or not. Otherwise full colonial with a counterpush. If you don't counterpush game goes like it went here.

Always cm nake ff. Sepoy>all port colo units.
Don't worry about eco. You have 2-3 TCs. Also, does eco theory really make a big difference in early games?
