After hovering some time around low 2nd lt, I have to admit that I'm stagnated in my progress.
If you got time/intrest in watching some (the mu you like) of these recs and give some advice, that would be much appreciated.
2 japan recs (never win at equal skill level), brit, french and iro.

I watched the game against the French. These are my observations:
- you floated a lot of resources for most of the game, which meant that you were down in military during the fights.
- you didn't make a market until the very end, and you must've forgotten to get the upgrades after you built it.
- some of your units were not used effectively, like the 2 mahouts which you sent into the French army without any supporting units.
- your first shipment in age 2 was 600c, which meant that you were housed for a little while when making the first few batches of units.
Sorry if this comes across as harsh, I'm just trying to help. And of course, I'm not saying that I am good at any of these things - this is just what I picked up on.

I downloaded all of them, but closed the rec after 3 min :(
All you need is to watch some stream, try to improve your basic skills. Your heroes didn't do anything until 30 seconds, scout in the wrong way, and both killed by guardians, and your vills shoot at animals to the opposite side...... These mistakes makes all the "strategies" useless.
You should spend at least 50% time concerning the left down of your screen: minimap, resources and vill, pop limit, shipment progress... instead of the units you're microing.
