You're just not doing yourself any favors by staying in the Colonial Age for so long, and you made a ton of Uhlans against pure Sepoy??Sowar. In this match-up you undoubtedly always want to age as soon as it's viable to.

As far as Indians go, I don't think it's ever a good idea to open with British allies.

i think if you''re playing Japan on an average hunt or high hunt map opening brit for the 6 musk isn''t a bad idea for some extra early pressure

I prefer Ottomans, even then. You don't need a bigger mass because you're not going to be able to kill a good enough Jap anyway' what you do need is 4 vills and 10LOS to "stay ahead" (keep up rather).

Yeah its just never safe to age up without a TP.
