Not sure that was Japanese meta as much as just a poor build from him. 1 rax musk in fortress? Meh.
Well played by you though. A small improvement to your build: especially if you're doing a fortress focused strategy, getting a TP up during age up to colonial is easily worth it.

He was probably expecting a rush, thats why he did straight ff i think, I''ve seen him do it vs iro too. TP wouldve been better yeah, but i was going to do the 12 sepoy build, only when i scouted his ff i decided to go age 3.
