During the RO128, it was quite apparent that a big portion of the participants didn't read the rules accordingly, especially when it came to time frames within a veto had to be submitted. I expected some confusion since the veto system is new this tournament, but I did not expect these many problems. Because of this, I am opening this thread to remind everyone how the veto system works, and to answer questions about the veto system.
In short, a veto is an instrument that players use to ban a map from the map pool for that series. The player with the highest 1v1 ELO at the time of seeding issues his veto before Friday 00:00 GMT. The opponent issues his veto ASAP after that. Failure will result in the opponent receiving the veto.
The full rules regarding maps and vetoes can be found here. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them in this thread or to PM me.
