a nice game indeed. however, is this still available on RE maps? or what if japan play aggresively (600w-5ashi etc)? i can't balance eco and military well, and i'm not sure how many manor houses should i build

well as brit you can 2 rush lb pike then mix huss later if need or control map and timing push before he ages.
japans win condition is to age up imo in this mu.
i try to scout if he made a consulate in age 1 with ports then i use my scout to find this monks
if he didnt make port consulate in age 1 then i would maybe age with a tower depending on map and make units asap with 1 or 2 rax if 1 rax then i would add a 2nd rax soon after and go for map.
most of the time i do 5 pike 1st batch then 5 lb and another 5 lb so if i run into 10 ashi or mosl of the time it will be 10 yumi i can deal with it since brit ages faster and shud have 1 more batch then japan at the start.
i use the 5 pike to bait out what he is making aswell to catch them with my lb.
and for balance i would just do standard brit boom 700w 600w then add a stable with 600w or when 5v comes if you send that next or with 700c and add huss then push before he ages.
if he doesnt then i would just control the map and keep making houses here and there. you can be a bit more greedy to since japan is slower
