I lol'd at "art" :p can't get contemporary art, maybe some day
and within french culture: literature (rimbaud, c?line, les lumi?res!!) and music which are vry important
its architecture also (hausmann, mansart, provencial architecture, are known worldwide)
ugly president with gold digger wifes can also be added I guess with sarkozy and hollande :s. (De Gaulle and Chirac nostalgia!)
as well as french friends which are from belgium
