I think you all are too quick with drawing conclusions. At the end of the group stage, we'll compare the (relative) amount of unplayed games between Spring 2017 and Autumn 2016 and then we can see if there are any differences, draw a conclusion, and decide our actions for the next tournament.

It's indeed impossible to draw conclusions, but the amount of people that forgot to sign up seems to indicate to me that it concerns mostly people that really would've failed to schedule. If the number was much larger or much smaller I'd be less content so far. At the very least, I think the experiment is fully justified.

@momuuu

Probably check in was a right decision to make, I am just pointing out that it's sad to see 40+ less players, but well, having inactive guys who just complicate schedules is sad equally. Did the media team think about giving additional time for registrations or it's better to respect the deadline? It should've ended yesterday I guess

I like the check-in. I looked at past group stage brackets and in a lot of groups there was at least one guy in each group that either didnt play any of their games. Good decision IMO, tourneys should be serious, even in the group stages.

They make perfect sense but I dont like them since I only got into the ro128 bc of scheduling issues of my opponent last time. now I will actually have to win most matches, sucks!
