ASC Group Stage Final Day

Post by _H2O »

Hi Everyone

As you have probably noticed, I have done another mass update of the group stage results. I also posted messages in each of the group threads. So far we have had a great turn out.

86 Matches have been played in just two weeks of group stage action, and a few 3 way ties have already emerged.

Group Stage Ends 12/27/2015.

Please make an effort to play your games if you have not already. Based on the results by tomorrow the staff will decide if we are offering any extensions and also be issued admin decisions for unplayed games.

Sorry for the ugly news post and lets get those games played!

Its to be expected really. In the earlier stages about half of the opponents magically disappear.

This is my first tourney and I'm eager to play. An average joe like me has a chance to change his stars like william from "A Knights Tale".. If this would be invite only it would limit people like me who have played aoe 3 for 10 years, and just recently found this awesome community. I think a good fix is to make sure when people sign up, they list the times they can play and then the admins just group the people who seem to match their times togerher.. If you fail to provide the time ur available you will be put with people the same way and get no games.. Simple.

I just hope DE is not going to implement all of the EP changes. Right now it is a big clusterfuck.

in any case, invitationals dont mean that the activity is increased. zuta hosted an invitational last year with only 8 players i think, and only 50% of the games were played as well lol. i think goongoon even reached the finals without playing a single game XD

The tournaments will stay open for sure.

We have about 50% of the games completed. A lot of the other games that are not played are due to one person being afk in their group. With that considered there is a clear outcome to 75% of the games probably. We also still have today which I am hoping to see a lot of results come from

I think the event should be open. I really do not see the problem with it staying so, and I see plenty of problems with the opposite.
