The ESOC Autumn tournament has concluded! What a successful tournament it was! Congratulations to @lordraphael
! The amount of one-sided series was really low. Partly because of this, the tournament was even more enjoyable to watch. We at ESOCommunity find it really important to show as many games to the community as possible! However, there were a few moments during these 9 weeks of tournament action that were very stressful to us. Arranging casters, managing players to play at certain timeslots and making scheduling threads requires a lot of effort. But fortunately, we can feel satisfied!lordraphael wrote:notification
I’d like to give all casters a big shout-out. Below is a graph that shows the amount of casted series done by specific casters (including groupstage). Without our casters, ESOC wouldn’t be as big as it is today. The tournament wouldn’t even have been interesting! A big thanks to @chrisie

The way we manage streams and casters has been improved due to our new policy. New casters have been given chances and the ability to stream on ESOCTV. Today, it requires a lot more to ensure the best quality. Due to this we managed to cast 40% of all series played from RO128 to finals with a maximum of about 10 series per weekend (RO32 lasted 2 weeks).
We really want to improve this! It’s way easier to manage a tournament with a large pool of casters. Therefore we need your help! Did anyone know Chrisie10101 before the Starvation tournament? The answer probably is no. Right now, Chrisie has casted 36 series in this tournament alone! He went from unknown to one of the most-seen casters in the biggest tournament AoE3 is able to host!
We would like to give you this chance too! Would you like to cast some games, solo or with a co-caster, do not hesitate and send us a sample! This is your chance to grow your casting skills and to be able to speak to a lot of people at the same time. You can even send a sample with a friend if you feel uncomfortable doing it alone. We will listen to it and give you our fair opinion, along with tips to improve. Keep in mind that we will select our casters for tournaments based on availability, casting skill and game knowledge. In case we have a positive feeling about these factors, you have a possibility to become a main caster of ESOCTV! From that moment, we can ask you whenever we want to cast a series. You can, however, always decide not to cast, we will never force you to cast a series. Everything is completely voluntary based. Is this something you would like doing? Send me a message including your ESO name and a sample of a casted match. You can either send a file to us or upload it on YouTube. If you have any questions, contact us!
We hope to hear more from you in the future!
