That was a joke..
The main income stream is from stream donations.

No, zoi is always talking out of his ass. Our current "income" comes from donations and money made from ads on youtube. We invest all the money into tournaments and the forum, however. The staff consists of volunteers.

Yea, I figured youtube income played a role...
I am just curious (since I am partner in a video advertising network) what your CPM and fill rates on Youtube?
Its cool if you dont want to disclose the CPM's :)

I can give you some interesting stats of the period during the Autumn tournament. In this period (September-November) I made sure there was (almost) daily content.
- During this period we had about 1k views per day.
- About 20k minutes watch-time per day. (Which is about 14 days)
- According to Google analytics we earned about €1,50 per day.
These numbers are not exact, but they are my interpretation of an average amount.

Feel free to rephrase your post in English which doesn't require me to devote 30 seconds into comprehending and I might consider reading your beautiful great work of both writing and art.
With the utmost respect & regards,

Banning is bad. Biased moderating is bad. Transparency is good. All three are important issues.
Last, I am thankful towards ESOC staff, and understand that its job can be hard.
I am terrible at communicating. My bad!
The ESOC Community Team will be making moderating decisions.
Part of this rebranding is to bring forth those issues you mentioned in our now active moderation policy: unbiased actions, communication before banning, and an increased level of transparency
Tank you.edeholland wrote:Because of the points you mention Zoom, we now have the community team (point 1). We want to take a positive approach and not be only banning policemen (point 2). We are starting with a new moderation policy where we will all agree on and we will have better supervision (point 3 & 4).
First, from what I understand, "Business Team" should be read "Administrators". Second, it looks like a board warning – formal (recorded) or informal. I would have worded myself more carefully, but depending on its basis, it's more or less reasonable.Mimsy for President wrote:So I've just received a threat from @n0el. I'm convinced it's a threat because it looks like it's been hastily written. If it was a warning, a conciliation meeting would have been involved, which is not the case here given @n0el's speed of response.n0el wrote:notification

Although I agree that is a rather widespread opinion, I doubt its basis, as in reality it appears to me as if it was just a couple of loud and noisy people perceiving the neutral, unsophisticated and inexperienced ones.
