In other words it would be better to just say that the usage of the building rotator mod results in an instant loss. Those little extra rules just make it more complicated. Additionally you wouldn't accidentally rotate anything because you can untick the rotator in the EP launcher.
I mean I personally wouldn't be unhappy to see rotator included in the tournament. Dunno what would be wrong about it.

I'm split if I should start making a return to the game to play in this or just give up with the imminent realisation that I'll wash out in pools anyways.

I don't like the veto system which allows player to just never play any game on water (considering Indonesia is the only esoc water map).
Could we remove breeze and put H2O instead please ?

If poissondu says they do than they do, I mean his name is fish so surely he's qualified.

Hi,

I just want to ask further of the Rotation buildings mod, why is that so unfair? Because buildings can placed like a circle? instead like a square?

I dont get it ^^"

And the stable thing is rather a joke?

It is not part of the game, so everyone does not have access to it, basically making it a cheat.

I took the liberty to put my Auto CAD skills to use and drew up a quick illustration of building rotater abuse:
Image
As you can see, the red thingy is longer than the black thingy and this means you can abuse the rectangular nature of buildings' foundations by creating seemingly longer paths for units to traverse. Imagine these are two block houses or banks. Note, a similar effect can be achieved with a cheap wall, though the rotated buildings provide a rather nice "pocket" for ranged units to sit in and greatly protects ranged infantry from cav. Pushing two rotated blockhouses is much more difficult than two non-rotated blockhouses.

Pathing is such a large part of aoe it makes sense not to allow it.

Its also not going to matter in 99%+ of all games. I feel like rotating a random wall pillar midmap just to protest it.

On the flipside, being able to rotate buildings can make cheese (like walling choke points so your opponent can't fb, or blocking with scouts) less annoying. But overall I do see the point.
