I recently thought about a forum-chat. Information like ESO is down, someone wants to play and other would flow way faster and you don't have to create a thread for every single issue. What do you think?

Kinda like twitch chat but then on the forum. Fucking yes please! Theres one thing I enjoy more than browsing on esoc and that is chatting with people in twitch chat.

We really need an ignore option though, just so I can ignore jkl ')

better to use that medium to chat as it's an excellent chat interface, rather than mucking up the forum with features which are better suited to skype in the first place. ^^

I think a shoutbox would be ideal for getting people to join your games. It's also funnier to play with other forumers rather than with random people.

Theres a shout box on the n3o site, but it was never used to any effectiveness. That may be because it was a much smaller community though.

I want the chat feature. :lemon:

Reasons :

1. Skype (have to install , then add ppl etc)

2. Twitch ... not everyone goes on twitch to stream , most go on twitch to watch streams, so how to chat to the ppl of this community.

3. All other chats , same issue of adding or may be personal. If I wanna discuss something on aoe3 , then this is the best place for that.

4. I DON'T WANT TO CREATE THREADS FOR EVERYTHING.

Does such a high percentage of "YES" votes mean nothing to the admins

I think it would be nice for asking people to play games, and chitchat about hobbies and funny things that happened to people in real life or ingame or whatever. I feel like those types of conversations are the most enjoyable, but impossible on a forum.
